The Department of Health recently published a consultation document to all Local Authorities, LINks and Volunteering groups, regarding the funding arrangements for Local Healthwatch and its additional functions (advocacy etc). The document includes some very useful information about what Local Healthwatch will involve and some detail about funding amounts. It also asks for responses to some proposals it makes about how funding should be allocated and how this should be calculated.
